I remember people ridiculing and/or dismissing anyone that suggested Patrick Reed should have been a pick for Team USA Ryder Cup. Last year on LIV Golf Patrick Reed had a win (Dallas), 6 top 10's, and a T-11, in 13 individual events. He also had a 3rd place finish at The Masters. Two weeks before the Ryder Cup Patrick Reed finish the DPWT BMW PGA Championship in 3rd place with a deep field that included all of Team Europe's players. At the time without getting OWGR points for his LIV Golf finishes Patrick Reed was ranked #46. Now everyone is surprised by how Reed is torching the DPWT, but not us. He's game has been trending up since he won the Hong Kong Open at the end of 2024.
