Ok, so I have two stories to tell.... So I heard these northern ladies, the illiterate see being a housewife as a very big flex 😂😂😅 well I pity them.... Meanwhile, in this case my patient doesn't know how to converse in English so apparently her learned husband is her interpreter... I was jehjehly penning down my case history and trying to the normal routine check (visual acuity and external eye examination) , for record purposes and for my license sake too because if that isn't done the patient can come back tomorrow and claim that I've blinded him or her while I didn't... Anyways the interpreter claimed to be a doctor and already knew what to do and what medicine to give her .... In my mind I was like, " why did you now come to the clinic?" 🙄 He was trying to force me to just take case history and prescribe drugs because of cost... Oh! Jesus... How? Why ? I almost told him to carry his wife and treat her at home since he is a doctor and knows how to treat her... I was just saying, "Ah!!! Medical ethics and jurisprudence" if not I for really give a response he will never forget... Well, I ignored his tantrum and calmly and sarcastically explained that they are compulsory test that I must do for my license sake, with a very fake smile 😊 I continued my test...
