I’ve taken a lot of insults over this post, but honestly, I’m not bothered. What matters is the truth.
The NPP is clearly desperate for power, and since the economic indicators are not likely to favor them going into 2028, they’ve changed tactics.
This time, they are pushing a narrative that shifts attention away from governance and onto a single issue, and unfortunately, it’s working.
We have suddenly forgotten the progress we’ve made, the relative stability of the cedi, declining inflation, fiscal discipline, job creation, and the big push agenda.
All of that has been drowned out. Now the entire country is fixated on dumsor, and very few people are willing to understand the real challenges within the energy sector.
I still believe there are elements within the system deliberately making things worse for political advantage, and that should concern all of us.

Imagine, NDC had not won 2024 elections, we would be here believing the NPP government actually collapsed banks in Ghana. After the NDC had created the mess and almost crushed our financial sector after pumping millions of tax payers money to these banks and still failing. They span the issue and still pinned it on the NPP. This clueless NDC Government mastered the art of deception and propaganda in opposition and are transitioning into the most deceptive government in our country’s history. Today, they can’t even pay teachers, nurses, cocoa farmers, electricity can’t stay on for a whole day, SHS students don’t have money to feed. Traders and business are paying three times for duties. SMEs are paying 5 times more in VAT. We are paying 4 cedi for each gallon of fuel as Dumsor levy. Electricity bills hav been increased by 24% in 15months Water has been increased by 15% Cost of living crisis has hit majority of the citizens Transport fares hav gone up by 25% The struggle is real and the betrayal is too glaring to ignore. What a waste of a country’s time!!!
