When your done with your delusional praises, be well informed that the resolution is not binding and the countries liable for the compensation voted against the resolution. The question now is, which country is going to pay this compensation?? Agro wo moa ni su ong?

@bashiru_bance 2/2 so the issue abt paying compensation u alluded to does not arise . U claimed that UN resolutions are not binding, practically saying that it is brutum fulmen . Which I sought to debunk with facts .

@Hamzah_Amadu Let me make it snappy. Binding resolution are made by the UN Security Council whilst Non-binding resolution are made by the UN General Assembly.

@bashiru_bance 1/2 U are obfuscating the issues. Security Council resolutions are UN resolutions which are binding and has legal basis .the recently passed resolution on slavery is binding on all member states whether u voted for it or not but there were no consequential orders …

Is he aware it is rotational? Ghana was 3rd vice of Africa Union Bureau in 2024 repping Ecowas bloc, in 2025 due to rotation we moved to 2nd Vice and in 2026 now first vice so in 2027 since it is not an election year in Ghana, Ghana will chair AU based on rotation and democracy

@theo_phylos We have so many sectors that make up our economy. It is foolish for anybody to suggest that some sectors are irrelevant.

@bashiru_bance It is meant to elevate the global recognition of the crimes committed against black peoples. It places political and Moral pressure on member states to put measures in place to correct the sins of the past and prevent future reoccurrence of such heinous crimes

@Hamzah_Amadu Your deflecting!! What has the security council got to do with the binding act of the UN resolution? In any case, what is the binding order in this resolution?

@bashiru_bance The issue here is whether UN resolutions are binding or not. The examples u have listed are resolutions that seek to condemn acts and not make any consequential orders . The Security Council can make “consequential orders “ with legal authority.
