@Hamzah_Amadu Let me make it snappy. Binding resolution are made by the UN Security Council whilst Non-binding resolution are made by the UN General Assembly.

@bashiru_bance 1/2 U are obfuscating the issues. Security Council resolutions are UN resolutions which are binding and has legal basis .the recently passed resolution on slavery is binding on all member states whether u voted for it or not but there were no consequential orders …

@bashiru_bance The issue here is whether UN resolutions are binding or not. The examples u have listed are resolutions that seek to condemn acts and not make any consequential orders . The Security Council can make “consequential orders “ with legal authority.
