@GauciReports Imagine debating a foul with him. “Section 2.9 of the rule book states that….”

@narindertweets They say you normally learn something everyday. And thank Christ I learned about Lord Nelson’s hat design, I’ll sleep better knowing this.

@DaveJWordsworth @owenjonesjourno No he won’t. Would sh!t himself at the thought of leaving the comfort level for his nice hotel room
English

@owenjonesjourno Have you been into the streets and talked to regular people who have been abused, starved and oppressed by this blood soaked regime you simp for for decades?
English

@NadiaWhittomeMP Are all the names of than list truly here to serve Britain only? I doubt it

Within just 48 hours of the Tories refusing to sack Nick Timothy for his Islamophobic comments, the far-right is circulating a list of MPs “of foreign descent” trying to “silence” him.
This is what happens when racism is normalised from the top: democratically elected representatives being told that we shouldn't be allowed to make decisions here at all, and even that we should leave the country.
It’s a racist attack on our very democracy. Will Nick and his party condemn it?

@PaulPageGolf That is their religion! Women pray separately!
Men and women sit separately in a sikh Gurdwara! Why doesn't enrage you?
Does the catholic church have no history child abuse?
And no - that's not intimidating to me!! Id walk past and get on with my day!
English

@JKAMMedia Stop trying to be smart around what each one was specifically..the vaisaki one DID include prayers too

Everyone that works for the oil and gas sector in the UK have been saying there is plenty of oil and gas left in the North Sea for years
The government would rather tell you otherwise and import oil & gas
North Sea oil - is it time to reconsider drilling? news.sky.com/story/north-se…

Too many are too polite to say this.
But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination.
The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination.
Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions.
And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals.
I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook.
Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation.
Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration.
It was an act of domination and therefore division.
It shouldn’t happen again.
English

@ahm3d711 @NJ_Timothy So what’s the point of it then? Why do it in city centre squares? In football stadiums?
English

The British Empire expanded by conquering countries, seizing land, and suppressing cultures often through force. Calling peaceful public prayer “domination” overlooks what real domination actually looks like.
Peaceful public prayer today isn’t domination. It’s the kind of freedom many people were once denied.
If Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us, that has to include people of all faiths.

In Ireland’s healthcare system:
Around 15% of all nurses and midwives are from India
At one point, about 20% of nurses were Indian-trained
Thousands of Indian doctors and nurses are working in the HSE keeping services running
Across the wider workforce:
Indians are among the top 3 largest working nationalities in Ireland (~3% of total employment)
Around 30% of Indians in Ireland work in health & social care
In 2024, over 13,000 work permits were issued to Indians..the highest of any country
And overall..
Ireland’s economy and public services rely heavily on migrant workers, especially in healthcare, tech, and construction
So yeah..contribution isn’t about ‘building schools for locals,’ it’s about keeping entire systems running today.

@JonathanWiltsh7 @narindertweets You mean the cowardice and yellow belly approach by Labour leaders to not stop a tyrant? Iran has had decades of diplomacy and talks, sanctions. Done nothing
English

Yep. The whole world will remember this vile period in our history. Who instigated it, who allowed it, who turned a blind eye.
I remember in detail, learning about WWII while doing GCSE history. The lead up to it, the opportunities to prevent it, the scale of the War, and the lasting stain on our species.
This is what the next generation of children will be learning about us if we don't stand up to Trump. Not joining this illegal war is not enough. He needs to be stopped.

Isn't it ironic that many Brits voted for Brexit because they wanted immigration to go down? How did this happen?
