@luxemiaa For the fact that he asked nicely you could have just not asked much and gave him the sit. Kindness is a very cheap thing it doesn't cost much but you could have reminded him so that next time he doesn't make the same mistake next time

I was sitting in my Comfort+ aisle seat when a man asked me to switch to his middle seat on a Delta flight. He said he wanted to sit next to his wife for their anniversary. I asked which anniversary it was. He said it was their seventh. I said that didn’t seem important enough to switch to a middle seat. He asked me what gave me the right to judge the worthiness of his anniversary. I told him that it sounded like we were on the same page since he didn’t care enough to pay to sit together.

@luxemiaa I agree with you really, he knew it was their anniversary and even if it wasn't he still have to sit next to her wife so he could have paid for them to sit together. But you should be kind anyways cause you don't know what happened, maybe he couldn't do so for some reasons

I agree that Trump’s send off to Mueller was crass and unnecessary. But I defy you to think of the worst person in your life and say something good when they die. A husband who hurt you. An ex that lied about you. A business partner that ruined you. A fender-bender that tried to sue you into oblivion. It’s easy to say “you shouldn’t” when you’ve never been. Imagine you worked your way to the highest position on Earth and then a man knowing it was all BS spent 12 months summoning you and everyone you know before prosecution trying to create a truth that’s all lies. So yeah, putting myself in his shoes, I’d find grace a little hard to pin point.
