Regardless of where everything ends up here in Kansas City, enough has been demonstrated to make me regret moving here from Hawaii 24 years ago, question every "hearing God" decision I've made in 20 years, question things I have taught as a pastor over 20 years, and unseat my confidence that I can hear and obey the voice of God. I'm glad this has not been the only expression of church or Jesus, because then I'd be an atheist. Thanks, #ihopkc. BTW: conservative, non-woke, just convinced that if you believed what you taught, it would reflect in how you led.

Especially those calling for repentance on the part of people covering up other leaders’ ongoing sins? I do. Jesus looked at Peter and said “get behind me, Satan.” He said it to His main apostle—something you set yourself up as in our day. I think it would be good to slow down and think about what you are suggesting when you call those who are exposing wolves in our midst Satan. Biblically, you are in dangerous company. Very dangerous. It’s been curious to me how you call out so many sins in our nation and in others, but when others do it to your friends, they become “Brethren Accusers.”
