@TrainingPeaks imagine returning a product and being refused a refund "because you didn't ask" most stupid thing I've ever heard. I wouldn't even mind if you actually had the wording written down but you don't.

@TrainingPeaks I cancel my account with you within the 45 day refund period for which you say "should you decide you want to cancel for any reason, you will be refunded a pro-rated amount" but because I didn't "reach out and ask for a refund" it doesn't count? Ridiculous

@chrstphrfinnan @agibby76 Sometimes feels like people expect all sportspeople to think about nothing else but sport. If you're making 6 figures at it then it's different but cycling isn't football and it never will be

So in one day we lose 2 teams and a large % of British bike riders retire. They won’t be sitting on a beach admiring their yachts they’ll be going out and getting jobs! Let’s hope that somehow some of them stay in the sport and pass in their knowledge skill and experience >tbc

@chrstphrfinnan @agibby76 No not at all, I just don't think it's a good idea for juniors to blindly plough down the full time route with no thought or plan for if it doesn't work out.

@chrstphrfinnan @agibby76 I've been really fortunate to race for Madison Genesis and JLT Condor and I owe them both a lot but things come to an end and for me it's just time to move on. If I thought I could improve at all elsewhere then I'd continue racing but I've had all those opportunities already.

@chrstphrfinnan @agibby76 I didn't set the world alight but that doesn't matter, I did as much as I could. When I realised I'd found my level I started thinking about what to do next, I think that's only natural.

@philipglowinski @BritishConti You're talking about Pro-Conti teams there. They have much bigger budgets and much more riders. They can comfortably afford to run double sometimes even triple programs at times

@AussieLarry @TeamRibble @VitusProCycling Larry, do you know what the reason behind the ToB having tiny bunches is? Yorkshire was 133 riders (still small) but ToB is 120 and it's been smaller I think in the past. I assumed it was a policing matter but if TdY can accommodate what is effectively the 2 extra teams....

Sad to see that the season here in the UK has revolved around ToB qualification & then see teams such as Israel Cycling Academy, Riwal Readynez Cycling Team, Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise & Wanty – Gobert part of the list. I'd rather see @TeamRibble & @VitusProCycling Vitus in there

Reading between the lines, I think @DanBiggles22 wants to do more hill climbs. Seriously, I've done this course once, every time I've driven on it since I think 'never again'. Wise decision to boycott.

@MattyClinton @DanBiggles22 I did the National 25 in 2012 up in York (ish). A woman broke her back in their event before the men's and the rain was so heavy I climbed off mid race and scrambled up the banking to a bridge over the course. Not worth it
