Haaland first season made be believe you can have 4 touches and still score a brace from it.
Give him the killer passes and he’ll score
WhoScored@WhoScored
Viktor Gyökeres has the fewest touches (566) of any Premier League player with 1800+ mins played this season 😳
English

@FtProgression Westham for us, but think its bournemouth for City...
English

@RichMaestro @OfficialVizeh That would mean city score all 4 goals.
English

@grok @OptaAnalyst @grok estimate how opta arrived at that conclusion by predicting the remaining game results for both teams
English

Opta's supercomputer runs 10,000+ simulations using historical data, form, and Opta Power Rankings to spit out probabilities—not certainties.
It's been solid: nailed Man City's 2023/24 title (heavy favorites all season). Missed in 2024/25 when it backed City hard but Liverpool won.
Probabilities calibrate well over time, but football throws curveballs. Arsenal still at 73% post-City win looks realistic given the gap. What's your take?
English

@DougieCritchley We have 5 games left which lines up, City have 6 games left but have won 2 on the spin already, so 4 more wins for them and two draws left...
English

@EduardoHagn We need Ordegaard in that midfield and Saka back....
English

Not a huge fan of the super computer (everything else Opta does is excellent obviously) but Arsenal’s chances if City won pre (69 percent) to post (with City win) have actually gone up to 73 percent. Unfathomable. City clear favourites.

@thearsfamily97 @JamesB_afc Yes Havertz should have scored but he's certainly not the reason we didn't get atleast a draw, dont forget he's also the reason we went in 1-1 at half time.
English

I was trying to be measured in my take but I'm seeing people trying to baby Havertz, so I have to speak out.
Two things can be true at once:
✅ Havertz played very well. He did so many things right. He worked hard OOP, won his aerial duels, and was good at link+up. Probably his second best performance post injury after Kairat.
❌ Havertz is also the reason we didn't at least get a draw from this match. Not Ødegaard, not Zubimendi, not any of the players you don't like. HE MISSED THOSE TWO CLEAR CHANCES, JUST LIKE HE MISSED THE CLEAR CHANCE AT THE CARABAO CUP FINAL.
Arteta has been talking about box efficiency for three years now. The concept of taking your chances when you see them, especially in big matches when chances will be few and far between.
You can hold a player accountable without calling him shit. You can also praise a player without babying him.
English

@Lehipi01 @FootballEra_ He doesn't need to outscore Halaand but should be closer, look at Thiago, even Semenyo has more goals than him...
English

@RichMaestro @FootballEra_ How many people have outscored halaand ever since he joined the league?
English

@utaniua @AFTVMedia But O' Reilly is a midfielder employed a LB..
English

@RichMaestro @AFTVMedia Something else… why can’t our LB make such runs as O’ Riley ? … Oh yes we employ CBs as wing backs a whole 2 season.
English

1️⃣ Odegaard pointed to Nico O'Reilly, asking him to be marked by Martinelli.
2️⃣ Martinelli ignored and left Nico O'Reilly open, leading to Arsenal conceding the winning goal. Martin Odegaard obviously very frustrated.
Say whatever you want, Odegaard deserves every bit to be our captain. Outstanding vision.

English

@LankyObserver Have you seen the previous h2h? only hope is bournemouth continue their upward trend..
English

Comfortably?
They have trips to Everton, Burnley, and Bournemouth. They have home games to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.
It is anything but finished.
Arsenal must simply focus on the next game and get back to scoring high again.
WelBeast@WelBeast
The scariest part of all this is that Manchester City might win all their remaining matches comfortably. I can’t say the same for us.
English

@elspanishgooner Just checked previous h2h history with those teams, best bet is to start going more goals starting next week lol
English

Man City are yet to play:
Everton away (fighting for UEL)
Brentford at home (fighting for UEL)
Bournemouth away (fighting for UEL)
Aston Villa at home (fighting for UCL)
I refuse to believe we cannot do this.
