@SheralynLIVE It's great Sheralyn! And honestly, I think it sounds like so many of us. :)

I wrote a song for one of my favorite X users.
Do you know this creator?

Nikita calling out Massimo is good for X.
🗣️I’ve been talking about this problem for years. Large accounts reposting videos they didn’t create, stripping attribution, and farming impressions has made X feel less like a home for original creators and more like a dumping ground for recycled content from everywhere else....That hurts the platforms image, IMO.
It makes X look like it has no originality, no creative ecosystem, and no respect for the people actually making things.
👏So yes, removing accounts like this from the creator program is a step in the right direction.
❓But here’s where it gets confusing:
If the account being “stolen from” also took the video from YouTube or another platform, then what exactly is the rule?
Is it wrong to steal from another creator on X, but acceptable to take from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or anywhere else as long as you are “bringing the best videos to X”?
😢That cannot be the standard.
• If someone made a video on YouTube, link to it.
• If someone made a video on TikTok, link to it.
• If someone posted original work somewhere else, credit them and send people to the source.
Do not download it, crop it, strip the watermark, reupload it, and act like you contributed something.
📜X needs clear limits and clear definitions here.
Because right now, the message still feels like a giant gray area:
“Don’t steal from smaller accounts on X, but reposting from outside X might be cultural commentary.”
That is not enough. 🫨
🐵Original creators should be rewarded. Repost farms should not be monetized. And X should not build its content ecosystem on monkey-see, monkey-do recycling from other platforms.
This platform will be stronger when it rewards people who actually create, not people who are fastest at copying.

@RichSilver I’ve never been there, but I truly do own the country. I’m not only did they have me go viral, but my husband’s also from there well not really his family is from there ha ha
English

@RichSilver Very happy about all of this! I hope this trend continues to reward creators who deserve it the most!
English

@ShamsAmin56 I'm surprised they haven't blocked me, the Figen did, but I've had Massimo muted for years now. I never liked what that account was doing.
English

@RichSilver That loser re*ard blocked me just because I explained copyright policy under his post lol what a loser.
English

@RichSilver Yeah. And it's literally copy and pasted with zero effort. Likely automated and screened. New post every few minutes of slop.
Glad they finally are doing something about it.
English

@AunySillyMe I know it.. that one is huge! I was actually just talking about him like the day before, then Nikita did that. crazy!
English

@ishindenshin99 It looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with me Falcon. :) 🤗
English

@nikitabier @Sailaff @Rainmaker1973 @ViralRushX So it's okay to steal from creators, just don't do it to creators on X!!
Well, that's a step in the right direction I suppose.. lol
Thanks Nikita!! :)
English

It is fine to bring the best videos on the internet to X. One of X's core values is cultural commentary.
However, we cannot tolerate big accounts intentionally using their larger following to hijack impressions hours after another user posts something.
Having said that, we will aim to reward original content creators and livestreamers more in the coming weeks.

@Dr_Holiday_DDS I agree and I sure would love to visit one of these days.
English

@RichSilver Ditto!
Japan, culturally, is so respectful that I hope to visit later this year.

@iJMS412 Thanks James! I had a lot of fun putting that one together, wanted to make a good impression on Japan.. LOL :)

@cfryant I think so too Chris.. They've already done interactive programming and gaming, so this seems like the next step.
English

@RichSilver Gotta be Netflix. They’re the only ones willing to do anything experimental.

Which major streaming platform will be the first to let customers create or alter content with A.I.?
Netflix? Paramount? Apple? HBO/Max? Roku?
Or someone else?
Because whichever platform gives viewers that ability first may be the one that takes streaming into its next era.
I think it probably starts small. Maybe family-friendly or children’s content at first. Five-minute custom episodes made from simple prompts.
You talk into the remote or fill out a guided template:
• Choose a genre.
• Choose the characters.
• Choose the lesson, theme, or adventure.
• Generate the episode.
Then maybe people can create their own mini-series, share episodes with friends, and the platform builds charts for the top user-generated shows.
Eventually five minutes becomes ten, ten becomes thirty, and one day, people may be prompting entire movies from their couch.
Not just searching for something to watch. Creating what they want to watch.
One way or another, I think this is coming, I just don't know who will be first.
