@Mikey81501830 @bookingcom I had the same problem. I booked an apartment that they recommended to me, it was in complete disrepair when I turned up (very different from the photos on its website) and they’re refusing to provide a refund.

@katibogar @bookingcom I cannot speak for your specific situation but the lawyers I’ve spoken to this week suggest @bookingcom has breached the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in the UK through misrepresentation of a sale made by description. By not issuing a refund they’re breaking the law.

@katibogar @bookingcom Sorry to hear this! I’ve given them enough warnings and now will be taking to them to court. If we can get enough people together we can get a class action against @bookingcom. They’re crooks and need to be called out on breaking the law.

@bookingcom Your DM is a joke. The property was misrepresented on YOUR website and I transacted with YOU (not the property owner). You’re liable, not them. If you’re unwilling to provide a full refund, you are in breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. See you in court
