Richard Del Toro
@RichardDelToro
Sheriff of St. Lucie County. Retired Chief of Police. Committed to excellence, the Golden Rule, and being the very best public servant to my community.

To celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth, Florida Sheriffs Association Board Member and @ccsofl Sheriff Michelle Cook was recognized at The @WhiteHouse by @POTUS President Donald J. Trump for her leadership and dedication to public safety. Sheriff Cook has spent her career working to keep families safe, strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve, and advance initiatives that protect victims and hold criminals accountable. Her work in Clay County reflects what we see every day across Florida, and that is committed public servants focused on making their communities safer. Public safety is not a partisan issue. It’s a shared responsibility that brings people together around a common goal: protecting our communities and supporting the men and women who serve. Congratulations to Sheriff Cook on this well-deserved recognition and for continuing to lead by example. 🎥 credit: @WhiteHouse

To every person who has faced adversity, whether In their personal or professional life, and responded positively to it. I admire the person who says, “Everyday someone does something great, today that someone will be me.”

Proud to have my friend, @stluciesheriff @RichardDelToro, testify before @HomelandGOP on the national safety threat posed by issuing illegal aliens CDL licenses. It’s already cost lives in our community, but we are going to keep fighting to make sure it never does again.

Honored to swear in @SheriffPinellas Bob Gualtieri as the President of the Major County Sheriffs of America. Florida is proud of our incredible law enforcement officers and thankful for their work to keep our communities safe. They put their lives on the line every day, and we will always have their backs.
