The Howling (1981) I love the setting of a serial killer werewolf in the streets of the 1980’s Los Angeles. The werewolf costume wasn’t as good as Silver Bullet, but man we had multiple werewolves! Great Flick! Rating 8.5/10

@RichardEmbree My absolute favorite werewolf film. I could do without that campfire scene, but otherwise it's almost a perfect werewolf film.

Remember how horrible the voice acting and script was for Resident Evil One? Yeah, I don’t want to pay $18 to watch that in 4k… Sometimes making a movie the exact same as the game is not a good idea.

@CreepyCatalog Nothing wrong with that. That’s how you find the true gems. I’m the type that if I catch it on a streaming service and like it, I’m buying the Blu-ray, shirt, stickers, all that. I tend to not gamble as much money on movies that I don’t think I would like.

@RichardEmbree I gotcha. I'm one of those goofballs who regularly buys $30 Blu-rays of no-budget shot-on-video horror movies that got almost zero distribution 30-40 years ago. So I guess I just don't think about price. At least, not as much as I maybe should.

Some people like the types of movies that inspired the first Resident Evil. For the record, I want Zach Cregger's movie AND an adaptation of the first game. Two different things. I want them both.

@BryanBaugh That’s an extremely delicate dance to pull off. Not impossible, but damn near close to it.

To the contrary. If they actually made a live action Resident Evil movie with horror as genuinely creepy, gory, and awesome - and action that felt as legitimately tense and dangerous - and heroic characters who behaved just as cheesy and unintentionally humorous - as the early Resident Evil games - Cult Horror Movie Nerds like ME would effin LOVE IT!😆💀
