@JosephFalzone3 @MGMentalHealth Psychiatry and Psychology are still mired in a replication crisis. Major studies don't replicate when repeated by second parties. The organic model has proven pretty much worthless due to complexity of genetic factors. Add to that, bad outcomes from psycho-active drugs.

@MGMentalHealth @RichardLawhern Psychiatry is still viewed negatively. The dreaded word Crazy is so stigmatized that it taints the whole field of mental health/psychiatry. We have to out the word and the negative association with mental illnesses. These have turned out be organic in nature, not functional!!!

Mental Health issues r neglected by every sector. It is psychiatry which take care of it but why psychiatry is being attacked time & again?

Let's do a long term study (i.e. Longitudinal) with CPP & see how many.become addicts? Then we can get a real idea of Just how dangerous opiates are?

We must invest in treating pain better. Re: opioids, we need clear protections for those who need the medication, and for those who wish to reduce their doses. Patient-centered pain care addresses individual needs vs. catering to rigid policies. bit.ly/2PLjqaG

If anyone could change my views it would be you but after watching her videos ,reading her work it would be a hard sell.
