Finally published💥 A comprehensive empirical and logical refutation of the theoretical basis of cognitive-based interventions for pain reduction 💥 The simple point is: If healthcare providers who possess great knowledge about pain and know the theoretical basis of these interventions still have chronic pain, why should they expect their patients to rid themselves of chronic pain with those interventions? This is my 40th peer reviewed publication and I tell you It was extremely difficult to publish this study. It was rejected many times because of the stupidest peer reviews I have encountered. It was obvious the reviewers were from the mind-pain-explain-pain industry and simply didn’t want the paper published. That is why we took it to PeerJ where they have open-peer reviews where reviewers can’t hide. Paper is open access. Link in the comments.
