@kareem_carr Yup. It's scary that well over 40% of your electorate really kinda like fascist sentiment, but if Dems want power they need to accept many tuned out voters are totally kitchen table-focused, like entertainment, and say/do things that may engage them.

One thing I realized from listening to a bunch of interviews with the undecided voters is they really have no idea what is going on. They don't know about DEI or facism. They don't know what any of the policies are.
They didn't like that groceries were expensive. That was it.

@DavidCornDC Do US journalists ever ask a follow-up? Trump constantly skates by with dramatic-sounding, detail-free answers and very few ask him to clarify what the ambiguity he just uttered actually means!

Deflation = falling average prices. That means ppl don't get pay rises/get pay cuts & consumer demand is weak (ie a recession).
