Nobody takes serious illness lightly. But the scare being generated by some over hantavirus is unwarranted in terms of widespread risk. CDC says human-to-human transmission of this Andes strain (ANDV) is rare and not very efficient. It typically requires close, prolonged contact between household/sexual partners, sharing a bed, kissing, or exposure to body fluids with a symptomatic person esp. during the early phase. And even then, only a teeny fraction of close contact people ever get infected. Let's remain vigilant but calm. ;)

Sigh. OK, this will be my last comment on this. I noted his absence because it was SO GLARING. There is no rational assessment of popular rock/blues/pop guitarists that does not include Eric Clapton. Despite whether you personally like him or not, it is beyond question that he belongs on such a list that the OP complied AND ASKED FOR ADDITIONAL INPUT TO. I added the obvious insight that has been noted by others including Rolling Stone magazine because it was so glaring that there had to be an explanation, which I then provided. If you don't agree with or like my explanation, so be it. I really, truly, honestly DON'T CARE. What I do care about is whiny _______ on the internet ruining the experience for everyone else.
