@wholemars Those are all patterns, AI thrives in patterns. Removing all patterns would actually make AI less useful, maybe what you're getting at is that as AI writes more code. Ai may find or create it's own code language but that's also non congruent to how LLMs fundamentally work

It’s interesting how much of the software world was just built around humans being too stupid to program correctly. You can’t remember what kind of data you’re passing around. So you need your language to be statically typed. You can’t remember to free up memory and will cause leaks, so you need to use a garbage collected language You can’t be trusted with the raw power of C to not accidentally introduce a buffer overflow or throw a null pointer exception, so you need a memory safe language like Rust But at the limit, as the models get so smart they don’t make any of those mistakes… why not just have the models write C or even straight assembly that cuts out everything unnecessary? Programming doesn’t necessarily need to be as human friendly anymore.
