@clairebubblepop Good for you if you even qualify for inheritance tax. A taxation on money that has already been taxed should even be a thing for anyone!

Why are farmers outraged to the point of threatening to withhold food? If you have to pay 20% inheritance tax on any farm you inherit, over 10yrs, do you think it’s fair I have to pay 40% on anything I will inherit? Not being funny but why shouldn’t you pay your fair share?

The country is almost unrecognisable from that in which I grew up. I’m 53 years old. Most of the change has happened well within the last decade. It’s been dizzying in pace. When I spend the day in London (as I just have done), I see clear evidence that society is struggling with the transformation it has imposed upon itself. Indeed, I feel like an intruder in my own home. That’s the truth of it. I’m white, male, middle-aged and conservative. It doesn’t help that I’m heterosexual and able-bodied. Ultimately, immutable characteristics and philosophical beliefs dictate how badly you can be treated. It’s the very thing we fought against for decades and decades. It’s the two-tier stuff. It’s why gender critical women are derided as ‘Karens.’ It’s the working class being called ‘gammons’. Luxury belief nonsense. All of it. I saw it on the horizon 30 years ago (I’d be lying if I said I didn’t). Even so, I’m still profoundly depressed at what we’ve become: a nation of poisonous little bigots parading race, ‘gender’ and sexuality. *Correction* What ‘THEY’VE’ become. I’ll never, ever accept it. I HOPE YOU WON’T EITHER.

@DrChrisParry @UKLabour With the ever moving retirement age, 4 day working week should be introduced as optional only and for over 50’s only. The 5th day should be covered by a pension payment - especially for those in manual labour jobs!

Why do I suspect that the four day week push by @UKLabour is designed to give a certain section of the community Fridays off?

Ok someone explain to me what the difference is between ex-pats and migrants? I don’t get how one is considered absolutely fine and the other is not. The hypocrisy is real with this one.

You asked what are British values and what has changed. I put my viewpoint forward but you are clearly an agitator!

It always cracks me up when white English people say the problem is Muslims don't integrate to our society because having lived in Portugal amongst English immigrants I can assure white English people don't integrate for anything or anyone.

@Ryder56004614 I’m sure if the country has to go to war in the coming years, you’ll be keen to soon give them their passports back so they’re called up to serve before you. These are angry working class people and should be punished for stupidity but at least listen to their voice.

I reckon those that are convicted of rioting, as well as whatever punishment they get, they should have their passports taken away for 10 years. Don’t like foreigners in your country? You won’t want a holiday in a foreign country then will you? There’s always Clacton 🤷

@ShentonTony @NFFC Whether you agree with the views of the people or not and everyone is entitled to a voice and their right to use it. You may not like what they are saying but at least respect their right to protest (not riot) without branding, stereotyping or disrespecting them.
