Met Police officer confronted outside an asylum hotel near Heathrow after telling a man filming: “I don’t serve the public I serve the government.” The man pushes back, saying it’s a public space and she’s a public servant. She doubles down: “I’m not a public servant.” “I’m employed by the government, not you.” Wow so the police don’t serve the Public then but work on orders from the Government.
