Instead of closing and running to the next shiny industry, going from hypergrowth and spotlights to unsexy, slow growth and profitable when times are tough and you no longer have product market fit is OK. It’s OK because you save jobs (not all, but at least part of them), you support users, partners and potentially investors. But also, because it buys you time to pivot and get lucky again.
