@shiningsweu Whenever the atheist secular media celebrates anything the Catholic Church says or does you can be assured that it harms the Catholic people and that the devil is smiling

(cont.) "The Homosexual Cardinal Fernández: Imagine the Devil as Head of Catholic Doctrine Archbishop Fernández and Francis’ Laudato Si’ When Pope Francis released Laudato Si’ in 2015, the document was celebrated across secular media, environmental organizations, progressive political circles, and global institutions. Newspapers that had spent decades attacking Catholic morality suddenly praised the Vatican enthusiastically. For many faithful Catholics, that alone raised serious questions. Behind the encyclical stood once again the strong theological influence of Archbishop Víctor Manuel Fernández. Fernández’s style, emotional, pastoral, fluid, suspicious of rigidity, and deeply open to modern ideological currents, seemed present throughout the text. Laudato Si’ was presented as a reflection on care for creation, something entirely legitimate within Catholic tradition. The Church has always taught that man must use creation responsibly because the world belongs to God Our Lord Jesus Christ, not to man. The problem was not concern for nature itself, but the broader ideological framework into which the document appeared to insert the Church. One major criticism involved the encyclical’s heavy reliance on secular environmental narratives scientifically, politically, and philosophically loaded. The document adopted the language of global ecological movements almost without sufficient distinction between Catholic theology and modern environmental ideology. The supernatural mission of the Church was being overshadowed by political activism centered on climate change, carbon emissions, and global governance. Modern elites who reject Catholic doctrine on abortion, homosexuality, marriage, and the divinity of Christ suddenly embraced Francis because he was speaking their language on ecology. The world that hates Catholic moral teaching applauded Laudato Si’. Another serious concern involved the anthropological tone of the document. Traditional Catholic theology places man above the rest of creation because he is made in the image of God and possesses an immortal soul. Yet critics argued that Laudato Si’ sometimes blurred the distinction between man and nature, creating a tone that risked sliding toward a kind of ecological sentimentalism where environmental balance appeared almost as a supreme moral category. The priorities also seemed inverted. At a time when the Church faced doctrinal collapse, collapsing Mass attendance, moral scandals, attacks on the family, and growing apostasy across the West, the Vatican appeared increasingly focused on climate conferences, environmental agreements, and ecological language. Many wondered why Church leaders spoke more passionately about fossil fuels than about hell, sin, conversion, or the salvation of souls. The influence of Fernández could again be perceived in the document’s pastoral method. Rather than presenting precise theological distinctions with clarity, the text often moved through broad emotional appeals, sociological observations, and moral sentiments open to wide interpretation. The tone reflected the broader Bergoglian vision: less emphasis on dogmatic precision, more emphasis on global dialogue and cultural processes. There was also a dangerous proximity between parts of Laudato Si’ and the later Pachamama scandal that erupted during the Amazon Synod in 2019. Although the encyclical itself did not promote pagan worship, its romanticized language about indigenous spirituality, nature, and ecological harmony contributed to the atmosphere that later allowed pagan symbols and rituals to enter Vatican spaces under Francis’ pontificate. To faithful Catholics attached to the Church’s traditional mission, Laudato Si’ symbolized a profound shift in emphasis. The Church historically existed above all to save souls, preach Christ crucified, condemn error, and call sinners to repentance. Yet under Francis and theologians like Fernández, many felt the 🧵1/2

The Best Catholic Preacher, According to the Homosexual James Martin "So says Martin SJ in an article in America magazine: “My opinion on what makes Stephen Colbert one of the best Catholic evangelizers of our time.” Stephen Colbert, whom Father Martin considers his “best Catholic evangelist,” is also radically pro-abortion. When criticizing Alabama’s near-total abortion ban in 2019, Colbert mocked the pro-life law and the legislators. When the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, Colbert used foul language to express his disgust and ridiculed the justices. In that same monologue, he even described the original 1973 Roe v. Wade decision—which triggered the death of tens of millions of unborn babies—as an act of “healing.” In a 2019 interview with the New York Times: “I support the legal right of women to exercise all their rights.” To leave nothing lacking in the preacher, he celebrates “gay marriage” and describes life after death as a dissolution into the universe." Golf Channel drops another masterclass in serious sports journalism! 🙄 Want balanced analysis on the future of LIV Golf? Nah. Let’s wheel out the two biggest smear merchants in the game — Eamon Lynch and Brandel Chamblee — for another circle-jerk of hot takes and selective outrage. Lynch, especially, rolling up with those painfully pre-written “one-liners” that land like a shank into the water — “picking one snowflake out of a blizzard,” “selling a deck on the Titanic”… bruh, we can hear the script in your head. Next-level cringe. Peak professional coping. Golf Channel: where credibility goes to die. 🤡 #LIVGolf #PGATOUR #PGAChampionship

Water shortages created by Mexico's failure to follow the 1944 Water Treaty have wreaked havoc on the ability of farmers and ranchers in South Texas to plan and to tend their crops & livestock, hurting both them and our state’s economy.   I’m introducing legislation called the WATER for Farmers Act, which will impose penalties in the form of tariffs on Mexico if they continue in their delinquency of water deliveries.   Watch my full remarks HERE: youtube.com/watch?v=Lq1oky…

Pedro is so old and grey. I can’t remember life without him. It’s been over a decade since I found him starving with about 500 ticks on him. He has good days and bad now, but he’s still the happiest dog. I know I’m not supposed to have a favorite with all my rescues - but he’s always been my best boy. Senior dogs are the best dogs.

I am proud to introduce legislation to rename US Highway 287 as Interstate 47 in honor of our 47th President @realDonaldTrump. My bill will upgrade one of our nation’s longest highways to a future interstate and save more than $5 BILLION in travel costs, all while honoring the most effective and influential president of our lifetime. Texas is Trump Country & this bill cements @POTUS’ legacy by designating nearly 1,800 miles of open road to forever be known as the Trump Interstate 🇺🇸

The Rosenbergs: A Marriage Forged in Secrets, Sealed in the Chair June 19, 1953. Sing Sing Prison. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg — strapped into the electric chair, hearts pounding — became the only American civilians executed for espionage in peacetime. He was a Soviet spy who smuggled the deadliest secret of the 20th century: atomic bomb blueprints from Los Alamos straight into Stalin’s hands. She stood loyally beside him, typing the treason that would change the world. Married in 1939, parents to two small boys, this New York couple ignited the fury of the Cold War. Arrested in the Red Scare frenzy of 1950, convicted amid screaming headlines, they stared down death and refused to betray each other. Protests exploded across the globe. Eisenhower refused mercy. At 8:16 p.m., Julius died first. Ethel followed — after three savage jolts of electricity. Traitors who handed Stalin the bomb… or innocent victims of fear and frenzy? Their love story ended in flames — but their ghosts still haunt America.

WARZONE: Brooklyn DA releases footage of gangs shooting over 180 bullets in the middle of the streets in Brooklyn. District Attorney Eric Gonzalez and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch held a press conference where Gonzalez talked about the violence and terror the gangs wreaked on the streets. One 17-year-old was killed when he was shot in the head by friendly fire, and another 16-year-old, who had no affiliation, was walking to Starbucks after football practice and was hit by a stray bullet, and is now paralyzed. The Coney Island gangs, Fly Ooter Gang, aka FOG, and “Koney Sides” fought against central Brooklyn criminal groups, including Folk Nation, WOOO and Choo. 7 gunshot victims were reported as a result of these shootings. Gonzalez stated, “I think what’s troubling is how trigger-happy these young men appear to be.” Christopher Moore, 21, was leaving a court-mandated supervision meeting at the Center for Justice Innovation when he spotted a rival gang member and waited for everyone to exit the building and begin opening fire. Gonzalez said this about the incident, “I find that video really unnerving because he’s in a building where he’s a known person… bringing a loaded firearm to his supervised-release meeting.”
