Ukrainian mother lost her 18-month-old son during Russian bombing. Never forget. Never forgive.

Over the past week, Russia launched nearly 1,550 attack drones against Ukraine, more than 1,260 guided aerial bombs, and two missiles. Over that same week, due to the easing of sanctions, Russia increased its crude oil sales to finance its war. Revenues give Russia a sense of impunity and the ability to continue the war. That is why pressure must continue and sanctions must work. Russia’s shadow fleet must not feel safe in European waters or anywhere else. Tankers that serve the war budget can and must be stopped and blocked, not just let go. I thank every leader who makes such decisions. This is what brings a dignified peace closer.

Ukraine crushed NATO partners during naval exercises near the coast of Portugal. Ukrainian Magura V7 naval drones simulated the sinking of a frigate during the drills. After several simulated hits, NATO sailors even wrote in the chat: “So are you going to attack us or not?” — not realizing they had already been attacked. Ukrainian operators commanded the “red team” and won all five combat scenarios. The exercises highlighted something important: unmanned naval systems, combined with Ukraine’s real combat experience and operational planning, can pose a serious challenge to traditional naval forces. They also demonstrated that many militaries — including NATO — are still not prepared for this new type of warfare. Unbelievable hypocrisy Ukraine’s Paralympic team faces constant pressure from the IPC and Games organizers — something they haven’t experienced in 30 years at the Paralympics. ▪️ Athletes were told to remove the Ukrainian flag from their team building and move it to a less visible place. ▪️ Officials tried to stop the team’s short evening meetings. ▪️ Paralympic champion Oleksandra Kononova was forced to remove earrings that said Stop War during the medal ceremony. ▪️ The family of medalist Taras Radi had Ukrainian flags and traditional scarves taken away in the stands. The tragedy was reported on the page of the Ukrainian Ice Hockey Federation: “Gordiy was a sincere, kind, and open boy who loved hockey, his team, and training. Olena was a compassionate, bright person — a loving mother and teacher who gave her students not only knowledge, but also warmth and care. Today we lost not only a young hockey player and his mother.
