@younghavok Entertainment in general pretty much peaked in the 2000’s IMO. Frankly not many companies are making games that feel like games anymore. You have crappy like Mixtape blowing up the review scores but the game is barely playable and the story teaches nothing.

@PlayerEssence @GeorgeCrudo I do agree with the statement that Assault was the right evolution for the series tbh. If anything the next game should expand upon Assault’s ideas. It really was fun tbh.

Mixtape exposed how many fake gamers there are in the gaming community nowadays We have people giving it a 10/10 rating when it's barely even a video game at all Video games are an interactive medium. If your video game lacks any meaningful interaction with consequences tied to it, then you failed at creating a video game. Period

When Sony raised PS5 prices the messaging was "global economic landscape, deal with it." When Microsoft raised Xbox prices the messaging was basically nothing. When Nintendo raised Switch 2 prices Furukawa apologized to customers and committed to delivering software that makes it worth the cost. One of these companies is not like the others 💯

@DreamyWeegee Cos BOTW was fresh and the fun was in exploring a new world. Totk was the same world and the entire game felt very samey and too similar to the prior. Was the sense of wonder for me which is now gone
