@SaintsJPEG Nothing worse than people who fail to communicate and waste peoples time and money. Good on you for calling it out

There are a lot of great artists in this space who communicate well and deliver throughout the entire process. But unfortunately, there are also a few bad apples that ruin trust and give other artists a bad name. One artist I will never work with again and highly advise you avoid is @SushiCreativ She actually reached out to me first after I replied to one of her tweets, offering to create a piece for me. We even hopped on a call where she explained her process, which made me feel comfortable moving forward. Like most artists, she requested full payment upfront for two pieces that I wanted done. But the moment I paid, her communication basically disappeared. Before payment, she was replying almost instantly. After payment? Days of silence. About a week later, she finally responded, and I gave her feedback on the first draft. Mind you she said the sketches would be done 3 days after payment. Then she disappeared again, only to randomly come back with a draft for piece #2 (when I still hadn’t received a final version of piece #1). Since then, she hasn’t replied to me at all. I’ve been following up every few days with no response. What really added to the frustration was seeing her working on her own personal art during my commission. Of course, I don’t expect her to only focus on my pieces, but when she’s ignoring my messages and not sending updates, it feels pretty disrespectful. At this point, I’m done. I won’t be commissioning her again, and honestly, I suggest you don’t either. I have asked for a refund, and asking again here for a refund. I get sometimes situations come up and delay things, but the constant ignoring and no update and why it is taking so long is frustrating after you have already paid. Others in the Doodles community have shared similar experiences and said they’ll never work with her again after this. Really sucks that my first time commissioning a Doodles community member turned out like this.
