She represented something really beautiful about Canada as Governor General. As the first Indigenous Governor General, she brought parts of this country into the spotlight that many Canadians are still learning about, and she did it with such grace. In our world, loud voices often take over, but there was something very reassuring about her presence.
As her time as Governor General has come to an end, I want to wish her and Whit all the very best in this next chapter. Thank you for serving Canada with such dignity. 🇨🇦
