The Reformed movement has recently moved in a highly cerebral, uptight, contentious, and legalistic direction. We need to recover a joyful spirit today. A warm spirit. A fun spirit. An open-handed spirit. A peacemaking spirit. A thankful spirit. A hopeful spirit.

Leviticus is the book most people abandon in their Bible-in-a-year plan. But it is the theological engine behind Hebrews. Every offering, every purification law, every restriction on access to God is asking the same question: how does a holy God dwell among sinful people? Christ is the answer.

“The women are to keep silent in the churches; for they are not permitted to speak, but are to subject themselves, just as the Law also says. If they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church. Was it from you that the word of God first went forth? Or has it come to you only?” — 1 Corinthians 14:34-36 Let your women keep silence in the churches,.... This is a restriction of, and an exception to one of the above rules, that all might prophesy; in which he would be understood of men only, and not of women; and is directed against a practice which seems to have prevailed in this church at Corinth, allowing women to preach and teach in it; and this being a disorderly practice, and what was not used in other churches, the apostle forbids and condemns, and not without reason: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; that is, in public assemblies, in the church of God, they might not speak with tongues, nor prophesy, or preach, or teach the word. All speaking is not prohibited; they might speak their experiences to the church, or give an account of the work of God upon their souls; they might speak to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; or speak as an evidence in any case at a church meeting; but not in such sort, as carried in it direction, instruction, government, and authority. It was not allowed by God that they should speak in any authoritative manner in the church; nor was it suffered in the churches of Christ; nor was it admitted of in the Jewish synagogue; there, we are told (b), the men came to teach, and the women "to hear": and one of their canons runs thus (c); "a woman may not read (that is, in the law), "in the congregation", or church, because of the honour of the congregation;'' for they thought it a dishonourable thing to a public assembly for a woman to read, though they even allowed a child to do it that was capable of it. — Gills Commentary

A word to conservative politicians out there, humanize yourself. (See Trump) Stop being one dimensional. It won’t hurt to add a bit of humor and show your other interests in life. An angry obsessed politician isn’t the win you think. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If you don't have the money to pay something off within 30 days, then you shouldn't be using a credit card. It's that simple. I buy everything on my credit card. And I pay it off within a month. Haven't paid a penny in credit card interest in years. Nothing will destroy you financially faster than credit card debt.

@Apostle_David Actually part of the problem is we refer to the Day of the Lord as the Second Coming where there's clear evidence Jesus visited the Earth in pre incarnate form in the Old Testament.

IMPOSSIBLE RAPTURE — ABDUCTION DECEPTION Why a False Rapture Cannot Deceive Those Who Are Not Removed The Rising Narrative of a Manufactured Disappearance A growing number within the modern prophetic world have begun to claim that the governments of the world, and the coming Beast system, will use an “alien abduction” narrative to explain away a pre‑tribulation rapture. They imagine a world stunned by sudden disappearances, scrambling for answers, and settling upon a cosmic explanation. But this entire structure rests upon a foundation Jesus never laid. The deception is not extraterrestrial. The deception is doctrinal. The alien narrative is not the lie. The pre‑tribulation rapture is. And the very Scriptures used to defend it collapse the moment they are read in full. The Verse They Quote — And the Half They Ignore The favorite proof‑text is always the same: “…if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matthew 24:24) But the sentence begins with: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders…” The deception Jesus warns about is: • false Christs • false prophets • false signs and wonders Not UFOs. Not alien abductions. Not global cover stories. The danger is inside the house of God, not in the skies above it. The Scriptural Impossibility of a “False Rapture Deception” Here is the unbreakable logic of Scripture: 1. The elect are the ones gathered at the real coming of Christ.“He shall send His angels… and they shall gather together His elect…” (Matthew 24:31) 2. This gathering occurs after the tribulation.“Immediately after the tribulation… then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man…” (Matthew 24:29–30) 3. Therefore, the elect remain on earth during the tribulation. 4. If the elect remain, they cannot be deceived by a “rapture” that supposedly removed them. A deception only works on those who remain. The elect do not remain in a pre‑trib scenario — therefore the deception cannot apply to them. The doctrine refutes itself. The Elect Cannot Be Deceived Because They Know the Voice of Their Shepherd Jesus said: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27) The elect are not deceived because: • they know the Shepherd • they know His timing • they know His appearing is not secret • they know His gathering is not hidden • they know His coming is not silent Paul reinforces this: “For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God…” (1 Thessalonians 4:16) There is no secret event. No silent removal. No vanishing act. The elect cannot be deceived by a false rapture because the real one is undeniable. The Real Deception: A False Promise of Escape The pre‑tribulation doctrine creates the very vulnerability Jesus warned about: • It promises escape, not endurance. • It promises removal, not overcoming. • It promises a secret coming, not a visible one. • It promises a Christ who arrives early, not the One who returns in glory. This is the deception of the last days — not aliens, but false prophets offering a hope Jesus never offered. Jeremiah warned of this very pattern: “They have spoken a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:16) And again: “They say still unto them that despise Me, ‘The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace’; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’” (Jeremiah 23:17) A promise of peace when God has declared shaking. A promise of escape when God has declared endurance. This is the deception. The Gathering of the Elect: The True Rapture Defined by Scripture Jesus defines the rapture plainly: “And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet…” “…and they shall gather together His elect…” (Matthew 24:31) Paul defines it the same way: “We shall be caught up together with them in the clouds…” (1 Thessalonians 4:17) John sees it: “Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him…” (Revelation 1:7) There is: • no secrecy • no invisibility • no hidden removal • no need for an alien explanation The coming of Christ is the most public event in human history. Why the Alien Narrative Exists at All The alien‑cover‑story theory is not born from Scripture. It is born from the need to protect a doctrine Scripture does not support. If the rapture is secret, it must be explained. If it must be explained, a narrative must be invented. If a narrative must be invented, aliens become convenient. But Jesus never taught a secret coming. Therefore, no cover story is needed. The alien narrative is a symptom. The pre‑trib doctrine is the disease. The Elect Stand Firm Because They Know What Is Written The elect are not deceived because they cling to the words Jesus actually spoke: “He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13) “In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) “Here is the patience of the saints…” (Revelation 14:12) The elect endure. The elect overcome. The elect remain faithful. The elect are gathered at His appearing — not before it. This is why they cannot be deceived. Beloved, the days ahead will be filled with signs, wonders, narratives, and explanations. But the elect will not be moved. For they know: • the Shepherd’s voice • the timing of His appearing • the nature of His gathering • the truth of His Word And when the trumpet sounds, and the heavens split, and the angels are sent forth, and the Son of Man appears in glory — the elect will rise, not in secrecy, but in triumph. For the deception cannot touch those who belong to the Truth.

What’s so funny is the translators of the Kjv had a foreword. It said that better translations would come, and they did. KJV is good and fine but there are better translations like NASB and LSB, this is a fact.
