The part that everyone is leaving out is that he was equally terrible for both fighters. During that last sequence, he forgot to tell the times keeper to stop the clock. He then gave Rico an extra 20 seconds to recover. On top of that, the Ukrainian should’ve had 12 or 13 seconds to work. Instead, he got roughly 6. So in summary, up into the stoppage the ref was fookin Usyk. Then he shit it again when he stopped the fight. Awful job. But it wasn’t bias or the sequence wouldn’t have went down as it did.

Referee Mark Lyson from the UK that did Usyk-Verhoeven should've been publicly castrated. Unequivocally one of the worst stops ever in big time fight, & was an embarrassment for Boxing. No fight manager should ever accept Lyson as a Ref in a meaningful bout. Now you know.

Many have asked what was wrong with Usyk, his upper body looked like he trained without a conditioning coach, was unmotivated, definitely a little on the Back 9 at 39, & greatly underestimated Rico Verhoeven, who was Boxing much better than anyone expected. Now you know!

I often get asked my opinion of @Turki_alalshikh. My thoughts, he sincerely loves Boxing, cares about the fighters, is great for the sport, & most importantly treats people with respect & dignity, including those at a lower economic level. And that's a very telling great sign.
