My yearly hot take: waivers should only be for playoff teams, since those teams season isn’t over If you have a consolation bracket, those teams can get active when free agency opens or in a second waiver run. Week 1-14 is a given, Week 15 on is earned

Teams with no playoff hopes should not make trades with playoff teams at this time of year. But it happens.
