Proud to say my legislation expanding the use of juvenile diversion, HB 144, passed the House today with overwhelming support. Diversion saves state dollars, changes lives, and sets youth on a path for success!

We finally passed my compassionate release legislation out of the House today, HB 150. While our state’s elderly population behind bars balloons to more than 7,000, our existing medical release system is fundamentally broken. It’s time for action.

We just passed my worker cooperative legislation, HB 135, which makes it easier to form a coop! And I’m proud to say we achieved wide bipartisan support with a vote of 194 to 9. 🎉🎉
