I live in Tampa so seeing the Bucs take Rueben Bain, Ted Hurst, and Keionte Scott has me concerned that they've got a PI trailing me around. What a draft. I once pitched HARD for Jason Licht as next GM of the Dolphins (before he got the TB job). He's never made me regret that.

Interesting conversation. Dolphins putting together a mix of picks, some of which are true swings for the fences, and some of which let's be honest come off a bit like ground doubles. Kadyn Proctor is a TRUE swing for the fences. No doubt about that. Sullivan used words like "rare" and "unique" about 27 times during the press conference. Bracket him with their final pick on Day 2 in Chris Bell, I think we kind of understand that one too. Not sure anyone would argue. But Caleb Douglas as a 6'4" & 206 lbs. guy who can run high-4.3's as consistent as the sun rise and go out in games over a 2 year period running wind sprints all day long, occupying the field side safety... this come off like a role player. It's a discrete role and guys like this (e.g. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Robby Chosen) find work in the NFL year after year. I may be one of the very few who had this guy on radar but even I'd admit this comes off like filling a role more than trying to hit a homerun. And Will Kacmarek, do I even really need to explain myself here? Blocking tight end. Nuff said. The guy I think people could maybe go back and forth on is Jacob Rodriguez. I think he is a swing for the fences. Dude finished high in HEISMAN voting FFS. He runs in the 4.5's, has a 38.5 inch vertical, and has guys like Zach Thomas and Luke Kuechly gushing about him. But I could see how some people wouldn't necessarily see it this way.
