I’m an influencer.” The waiter pauses, thinking she’s joking, but she doubles down; “I’m not like a normal person, I don’t pay for meals.” The waiter calmly replies, “That’s not how it works here, you still need to pay.” There’s a difference between real brand partnerships and entitlement. Promotion only works when both sides agree to it beforehand; not as a surprise at the end of a meal. Expecting free service just because of a title undermines the value of everyone else’s work. Do you think businesses should ever accept “exposure” as payment, or should this kind of expectation be shut down completely?

@studurando We are talking about a job. If somebody asks me right now am I staying 100% at my job my answer is that is my current plan. Doesn’t mean that if somebody comes along as says I have this great job offer I’m not going to listen to it then decide to still stay.

Josh Schertz was asked if he’s 100% back for 2025-26. “You’re in a terrible spot as a coach. If you say, ‘I'm 100% back’ and something changes and you're not, ‘oh, man he lied.’ If you say, ‘I'm considering all these other jobs,’ then you're distracted. There's no right answer.”
