Overall I’m still very skeptical about $RON because there is too much sell pressure. I 100% don’t believe the team is in control of the wallets dumping $RON. Although, I do believe the team is the reason “someone” has too much $RON, which is being sold consistently. However, this is some bullish news that has temporarily brought me out of the shadows. I have reopened a position in $RON. Due to the “forced appreciation” starting September 29th, I believe now might be a great time to buy. At current prices, the team could buy a substantial amount of $RON, which would cause the price to rise. I don’t believe there is enough $RON being sold for the price not to pump (see screenshot). My strategy is the following, purchase $RON, collateralize that $RON with the compound DeFi app and borrow $WETH, swap borrowed $WETH for more $RON and supply that $RON to the $WETH lending protocol on compound to reduce my liquidation risk. I believe the forced appreciation will help $RON out perform $ETH, so the loan is “safer” play as long as whales don’t suppress $RON. IF we don’t see $RON go crazy then we know there is a problem. That problem is what I have been saying for almost a year now, “someone has too much $RON and they’re consistently dumping it which suppresses price.” Despite what others say, this is a LARGE purchase being made and “buy pressure” is ALWAYS good for upwards price action Hope y’all enjoyed the read, depending on how things play out with another project this week, I will be increasing my $RON position. $RON Buyback It’s happening. The Ronin Treasury is unique since it gets a portion of all dex and nft volume on Ronin. These funds are now being directed to accumulate RON onchain. The Treasury has enough funds right now to accumulate ~ 2% of the total circulating supply. Approximately 10 million RON. The Treasury is becoming the strongest hand while removing the weakest. The buybacks will start next week and will be executed on Ronin. This is the first bullet in the chamber.

I’m gonna get a lot of hate for this, but IMX > Ronin. What really matters in Web3 gaming is the ability to onboard gamers from outside of crypto. Right now, IMX is doing a better job partnering with Web2 games and onboarding new players. You can only recycle attention and liquidity for so long. That’s why chains like Abstract are quickly catching up to Ronin. You can have the most established IP and even better tech, but if you can’t convert new users, you’re dead in the water.

I woke up excited today because I can finally share some news that could significantly change the course of the @Ronin_Network ecosystem: the Ronin Treasury is about to start buybacks of RON! For those who havent been following, the Ronin Treasury has been quietly building up funds over the past few years through ecosystem fees, from Katana DEX, Ronin Market, and even the Ronin Name Service. Were talking about more than $5 million in assets, split between ETH and USDC, that will now be fully converted into RON starting September 29th In practice, this means the Treasury will buy back around 1.3% of RON circulating supply from the open market, working with partner market makers, fully onchain, and of course, within Ronin itself. This move will reduce the amount of RON in circulation while increasing the amount held by the Treasury. And here’s the most important detail: it’s a one-way street. The Treasury has no plans to sell RON, only to accumulate I like to think of it as when a company buys back its own shares because it believes theyre undervalued and that the future holds growth. But this isnt Wall Street, its Web3. This is the “onchain Nintendo” showing complete confidence in its own token Why does this matter? Because Ronin is on the verge of becoming an L2 on Ethereum, at a time when traditional markets are also starting to look more seriously at crypto. Reducing circulating supply, accumulating value in the Treasury, and publicly signaling long-term confidence in RON is a way to align holders, builders, and the network itself as we head into the next cycle ✨ My take: This move is a true turning point. If I’m being honest, the only token that doesn’t make sense to me this cycle is $RON. I feel I’m pretty decent at recognizing the potential market value of projects and this has my mind boggled. Maybe I’m biased as it was my humble beginnings. Maybe it’s a huge opportunity.

Always been bullish on web3 gaming and @Ronin_Network has been at the heart of that for me as long as I can remember. The $RON chart is looking good to start a major reversal soon & head back towards $1. Has been consolidating all year around this level and think there's enough bullish momentum now for us to kick on. Only a matter of time til we get another major web3 gaming run as well so makes sense to start accumulating the number one gaming chain.
