i’ve been trying to go to the gym and gain weight recently after being anorexic basically my entire life and i never realized how difficult it is to eat 2,000 calories a day. you genuinely just have to not stop eating all day. this is ridiculous

@1ssve Yes, when they refuse to talk salary/conditions I transferred from NZ to Australia, happy with the conditions, but got a pleasant surprise when I started. It was a 9 day fortnight, they were not allowed to mention it as the Kiwi's were on 10 day fortnights.

@1ssve I was interviewing for a part-time maintenance job with worse pay than I made petsitting, but she kept talking about how she worked her way up from reception to manager (seriously, over and over), and I should have that mindset and commitment if I wanted to work there. 😂

@1ssve Yes. I interviewed at a hotel where my best friend was the receptionist, but I was SO glad I didn't get a callback, cause the manager who interviewed me came across so crazy and untethered from reality that I had a hard time suppressing my facial expressions as she talked.

@NickStillHere That depends almost entirely on bodyweight, and a little on coordination. I did seven pull-ups the first time I ever tried (I think I was 16-17 and ~140 lbs), and could do 20 per set before I could bench 225. Pal of mine benched over 225 before figuring out how to do one pull-up.

10 pullups is significantly harder to do than benching 225 lmaooo

how do people get their pubes shaved so cleanly i struggle to get a clean shave and it comes back after a day or two is it waxing or nair or something else

@Pineapples1991 @kainenlemmin And as I said, that is obviously fine, but there are also a very large number of women who do it against their own preferences. Also, in two decades of performing it on partners - most of whom had pubes - I've never had either of those tired cliché things happen during oral, lol.

As a male, I've been unwillingly exposed to many men's thoughts/perspectives that they hid from women, which tend to be even more gross than their public ones.

@Nomi__tomo @kainenlemmin I also grew up taking care of younger kids and old people, so my early exposures to bodies without pubic hair were all kids who hadn't grown it yet and people so old they'd lost it, both of which ingrained it as not sexually attractive in my brain.

@Pineapples1991 @kainenlemmin Legs and underarms are a different situation (e.g. hairy underarms are objectively less hygienic), but we were talking specifically about pubes. Also, if you're shaving just cause you prefer how it feels, that's different from doing it for someone's fetish, social pressure, etc.

@Rideout89 @kainenlemmin No thank you 😂 I shave for myself because I HATE having hair down, on my legs or my armpits. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Even whilst pregnant, I still shave every other day. It really does not make anyone look like a child 🤦🏼‍♀️🙄

@gummysalamander I follow the daily 3-3-3 rule. 3 meals, 3 poops, 3 naps.

poop map has taught me that anywhere between 3 poops a day and 3 poops a week is considered healthy and that seems like a very large margin

@Its_Tina_timeVO For most of my life, I thought I had allergies, then I finally had a legitimate test done by a specialist, and it turned out I have no environmental allergies, just an intensely reactive system; that info was super useful. If you haven't been tested already, might be worth doing!

Y’all what are your allergy hacks because this year my environmental allergies are off the charts. All my usual stuff isn’t really helping and I’m miserable and my eyes are so itchy 😭
