this is such a silly and weird quote I had to go watch the whole session (link below). prob not a cerebral answer to the last question. also, not easy to get in front of a mic and answer questions for 15 minutes. finally, not a huge ice cream guy but I'd prob push back and have some conviction against the false dilemma and go chocolate peanut butter. Really illuminating quote from Oregon QB coach Koa Ka’ai about the mental make up they look for in a QB: “I ask them a question like this all the time. ‘Hey do you like chocolate ice cream or vanilla ice cream?’ The moment a kid pauses, I don’t really want that kid because you need to have some kind of conviction… If you sit there and say, ‘Oh coach, I don’t know’… What is this kid going to do on third down in front of 110,000? He’s probably going to think about it more than he should.”
