@pinkandpainmom I suspect so that the ranch hands borrowed from her father could intentionally cause the space heater that caused the fire that hurt Garrett while Kayce wasn’t looking. I fully expect to find out the Weavers are the money behind the attempts on Rainwater’s life.

If you like the character, you probably shouldn’t ship her together with the main character of a procedural show (Kayce) because as soon as they hookup they will either kill her character off or transfer her out as it won’t be Kayce who goes. There are no happy couple when come to procedurals shows. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There is nothing wrong with it, as long as you realize Marshals is the kiddie show of the Yellowstone universe. The others in the universe are the adult shows. It is kind of rough in the beginning but does get better starting around episode 6, and part of that is due to them starting to do multiple episode story arcs, and not having each episode be a one and done. That being said, is ever going to be as good as the original Yellowstone or the prequels — no because of the chosen format of being a procedural and not a drama and the fact it’s on network TV (CBS) at 8pm on a Sunday which means it has to be sanitized to make it family friendly, whereas the upcoming Dutton Ranch and the others being streaming only are for adult audiences only.

@whoisaliceeeee Yessssss!!!!! That means the Andrea/Kayce thing is off the table, as we all know Kayce would never even consider going after a Brother SEALs chick. Now we just have send Dolly back to where ever she came from and find actual Montanan country girl for Kayce.

I had received some questions about President @realDonaldTrump's recent posts, and here are my thoughts: I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post. When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad. And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree. I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.

@ShaneSchaetzel Pope Leo's rhetoric is much harsher than Pope John Paul's comments. Pope John Paul criticized the war itself and not the Administration specifically. Pope Leo used words like "delusion of omnipotence", "tyrants" and worst is that God does not listen to them.

When Pope St. John Paul II publicly chastised President G.W. Bush for the Iraq War, for weeks! Bush responded by saying he simply did not agree and moved on. This is what President Trump should have done with Pope Leo XIV. Instead he decided to make it personal and insulting.

Part of the problem is the American Cardinals and Bishops (looking at you Charlotte and Detroit, and Pope Francis with Traditionis custodes) are working hard to take away the tools (TLM) that could be used to create more “serious practicioners of Catholicism in their faith, fasting, and prayer.” and replace it with guitars and felt banner masses. And, then they wonder why American Catholics are cafeteria Catholic that bend which ever way the political winds blow.

Many people, myself included, wanted to see Cardinal Sarah become the Pope. But a large proportion of those who wanted Sarah to become Pope would very likely have been gravely disappointed by his papacy had he been chosen. Read his words here; they hardly differ from Leo's on the subject of Islam. He is charitable and neighborly on the matter, and speaks in a manner that is geared toward fostering peace rather than stoking anger. He explicitly condemns cartoonish depictions of Muslims, and calls Christians to ask whether they themselves are matching serious practicioners of Islam in their faith, fasting, and prayer. I could see "LifeSiteNews" running outraged headlines over this kind of teaching very quickly. Though for many traditionalists, a Sarah papacy was an earnest hope -- and he verily would've defended the Latin Mass -- he was not quite the "unwoke" pick among the Cardinals. In fact, there really wasn't a Cardinal who would've actually satisfied the "unwoke MAGA trads" in the United States. It seems to me that in America, "conservatism" is thought by many to be synonymous with a loud, parochial, and brash type of populism -- one where we DESTROY the arguments of our opponents, and OWN the LIBS, etc. This brand of so-called "conservatism" does not appear to exist in Rome at all, which makes great sense, as it would be an impediment to the basically cosmopolitan, global mission of "making disciples of all nations" and of promoting the peace of Christ on earth. And so exponents of *certain types* of "tradcath-ism" will be perpetually aggrieved. Even if their preferred papal candidate had been chosen, they'd eventually have found a way to be outraged about him. Some of them (not all) have a habit of taking the "revenge of the punished losers" mentality of MAGA and shoehorning it into the Catholic faith, and the very predictable result is an endless torrent of permanent disgruntlement about basically everything. It just makes sense that the Pastor of the entire world is not going to cater to a tiny minority of angry Americans, and that he is not going to go around "OWNING the Muslims" and so on. He wants them to convert, not get mad. He understands that mutual respect is the first step to conversion, and that making a big show of condescension and outrage is never profitable. This post is, by the way, a defense of Pope Leo.

Highly regarded orthodox Cardinal Robert Sarah said this in 2015 about Christian-Muslim co-existence: "In Guinea, the population is 5% Catholic and 73% Muslim. But we are not afraid of each other. Instead, we stimulate each other through fidelity to our faith. Seeing the Muslims, for whom the importance of prayer and direct communication with God is essential, Christians must ask themselves: I believe in the true God, manifested through Christ: am I as fervent as the Muslims are? Do I fast? ... Prayer is also necessary, on both sides, for everyone to live in peace. ... Q: This is a far cry from the violent behaviour of radical Islam! How do you explain that? Cardinal Sarah: The cartoons that target Islam (among others) do not promote brotherly coexistence. As the Pope said, we should not insult other people's faith. We do not have the right, just because we do not share someone's faith, to insult it and caricature it. This must stop! But true Muslims have never murdered anyone. Those who behead, crucify or slaughter in the name of God are projecting all their violence on an idea they have made of God. In my country, Muslims are horrified by these crimes and these beings who are men in name only. ad2000.com.au/articles/2015/…

I’ve discovered that lots of “Christians” don’t actually want to hear the truth, they just want a pastor to preach their own political opinions to them.

Let’s not forget, come 2028 Trump will be old news and will be spending his days golfing. Pope Leo on the other hand will be on the world’s stage for at least another 15-20 years. And, if Pope Leo can get the Cardinals moving on Liturgy reform come June, I think you will see his popularity grow even more in the US.

In a match between Pope Leo and President Trump, my money is on Pope Leo. As I said earlier, I don’t hate Trump. In fact, I agree with him on most things. But when it comes to a showdown between him and the pope, the pope has my support. Trump does not.

Just Cause. It the exact same reason Pope John Paul II (and by extension Benedict XVI) called out Bush to his face live on TV over the war in Iraq which was about weapons of mass destruction too. The Church stance hasn’t changed, what has changed is how the person in the Oval Office reacts to the Church’s stance on what constitutes a just war. ncregister.com/commentaries/a…

Trump won the Iran War militarily (nobody thought he wouldn’t except Iran), but he has lost the PR war in the West. The war is unjust. He miscalculated. He’s being called out on it by many people, including the pope, and so that’s why he lashed out at the pope in such an unhinged way. Now many of his supporters are lashing out against Catholics in a similar unhinged way. This is not how you win a Midterm. Americans will not vote for unpopular wars, anti-Catholicism and pope bashing. Good luck in November! The Democrats are going to win back both houses, and spend the next two years impeaching Trump and Vance. Then they will take their revenge on MAGA. Lord have mercy on us all.

Couldn’t agree more. She is coming on way too aggressive to be a legitimate love interest for Kayce. I think it’s going to turn out that she is the big bad behind the Clegg brothers and that she’s the one that wired the $250,000 to pay for the attempt on Rainwater’s life. And heaven help her when Kayce (and Mo -😜) finds out. I’m kind of hoping that Kayce is putting with her and her Daddy’s shenanigans because Kayce already has suspicions about them.
