NEWS: 120 academics, scientists and engineers have signed an open letter arguing that hydrogen vehicles hinder the green energy transition and shouldn't be promoted by Toyota at the Paris Olympics. "The Paris Olympics are being used by Toyota to promote hydrogen cars, buses and other hydrogen vehicles as a solution to climate change. This is scientifically misaligned with net-zero. One of the reasons is that green hydrogen-powered vehicles require 3 times more electricity than battery electric vehicles for equivalent duty. Started from the parking lot, went onto the highway, merged into traffic, got off the highway, went to the city, and finally returned back to the parking lot. It took more than 10 minutes to travel 10 kilometers. Although there are not many vehicles, there is no need for high-precision maps and no LIDAR, it is completely based on pure visual modeling. Tesla’s brand loyalty probably has peaked. Elon brought politics into the buying equation for many consumers. Previously, liberals were the target market for an EV and conservatives were the target market for ICE vehicles. Politics have deteriorated Tesla’s target market. Price cuts, incentive deals, rate promotions, and more are probably the new normal to keep people interested/buying. I’m not a Tesla hater (own my 3rd vehicle) or offended by the politics. It’s just surprising to hear people in the real world - not behind a keyboard - say they are no longer interested in a Tesla product because of Elon. They often will even buy inferior products out of spite saying “I’ll never buy a product from that man”. I’m not sure we can put that genie back in the bottle.

@RiktkurserN Det var lite jobbigt när embracer föll -70% i portföljen, men sedan tänkte jag på vad Lynch sa. Det räcker att vara rätt 3-4 gånger i portföljen och då blir man rik. Om 6-7 aktier faller mycket i portföljen och 3-4 st går upp tio gånger upp så går portföljen bra ändå.
