Our club has been on life support for some time but tonight felt like the moment the machine was finally switched off. People will say the board were not the ones playing that second half. But anyone who understands anything about life knows culture work ethic and behaviours all come from leadership. When the top is rotten everything beneath eventually decays. This football club has been driven straight into the ground. After we lost our great chairman in 2018 it looked like things were steady but the truth is we were living in a hangover period built entirely on the foundations and standards Vichai had created. Since the braindead decision to hand the keys to Brendan Rodgers an egotistical maniac this clubs decline really began. Every attempt to fix a problem only created another one. Those problems piled up year after year until the whole thing finally collapsed. That collapse is this season. We started with a cheap managerial appointment we all desperately hoped would work but it turned into a nightmare. Overpaid average footballers full of ego and laziness who cannot be managed by anyone have taken this club to its knees. We have now gone three games without a permanent manager and thrown away nine points. The club hoped that King would start strong so they could take the cheap option and stick with a legend. Instead and unsurprisingly he has been unable to control this group of frauds either. Rumours say Nigel Pearson has not even been contacted. Probably because of bad blood from years ago when the owner sacked him in 2015 only for his dad to reinstate him hours later. What an embarrassment. The only hope this club has left is for Top to finally put his ego aside just like the players need to and step away for the good of a club he claims to love. Because right now everything we once were everything we stood for is being destroyed from the top down.
