Pakistan needs a tactical weapon that can threaten India on the strategic level. The J-35A is that weapon. It's highly stealthy, able to evade Indian radar systems. It will haunt the skies of India like a ghostly predator. With the J-35, the Pakistan air force can enter Indian air space and strike any targets with impunity, especially time sensitive ones like missile sites, missile launchers and airbases. Thus, J-35 as a tactical weapon will have deterrence effects on the strategic level. When India is planning another war of aggression, they will have to weigh in the possibility of the J-35 showing up and decimating their offensive assets.
