Giving a show a low rating is understandable, but bad booking isn't enough to give a show a zero. It still has professional presentation.
To me, a true zero would be a constipated HHH struggling to squeeze out a turd in a dirty bathroom, while filming it live in 240p.

Also lol at this idea that E33 is somehow following "Sakaguchi's recipe" when it doesn't play like any of the Sakaguchi directed era FF games or any Sakaguchi game, and where the E33 devs specifically listed a plethora of JRPG from Persona to Mario& Luigi RPG to Atelier to FF and including modern FF like FFXV as having directly influenced E33, so what are you even fucking on about bro?
Having a world map with a tiny version of the character running across an SD map before a battle transition to a seperate screen occurs is like the only thing E33 even has in common with FF7-9, FF10 doesn't even have that, bro even FF Type-0 does that and was the last FF to do it.

People need to start realising the reason E33 actually sold so well out the gate was because it released on Steam at launch for $50 USD, coinciding with positive word of mouth propelling interested and its sales. Like over 90% of its sales were from Steam, the console sales were actually miniscule for E33 and it flopped in Japan too, even Forspoken outsold E33 in Japan.

They showed what the Original Recipe would look like, with today’s tech (Expedition 33) In less than one year, their first dish outsold the last 2 meals Square Enix made (FF16 & FF7 Rebirth) That’s what Final Fantasy was Now it’s just a confused attempt at a gourmet meal, that only follows half the recipe
