Running Google Ads for eCom brands while building my own. Not an agency. Just someone who runs a brand too.

Reintroducing myself since a lot of you are new here… - I'm 24 years old. - 2 years ago I was a mechanical engineer at Jaguar Land Rover making £50K a year. - Hit $15k/mo with agency, quit job and booked a one way flight to Bali. - Didn't love Bali. Moved to Thailand 30 days later. My brother Ryan quit his job and joined me full time. - Met my girlfriend. Hit $50K/month while travelling. Then $100K/month. - Outgrew Thailand. Moved to Dubai Marina. Felt like going from a small pond to the ocean. - Scaled agency to over $3M/year. Onboarded multiple 9-figure brands. - Most importantly, got a puppy. Still early. Documenting everything along the way. Follow if you're building something and want to see how this goes 🫡

We started working with a store running google ads with a pretty big product catalog. They had been running shopping ads for a long time Never once used a feed tool If you're not sending google clear signals about what product you're actually advertising, how is it supposed to match the right search intent? Get a feed optimization tool Go through your product titles one by one, especially your bestsellers. Make sure the info you feed google matches what people are actually searching for

Too many founders blame google ads for not working But google ads only does one thing. Buy relevant traffic. People actually looking for what you sell And that traffic has to land somewhere Is your site slow? Is your offer bad? Do you have local payment options etc? Saw a webshop once where the atc button was so grey the product basically looked sold out If the site you're sending paid traffic to isn't dialed in, it barely matters how much you spend on ads Spend some of your time/energy/marketing budget on the site itself first

Most google ads accounts i take a look at are losing money here and there and the owner has no clue Google just sets a few things up by default that make google money, not you 3 things i always fix (takes under 5 min): Turn off auto apply recommendations (sneaks broad match + display expansion across the whole account. Great way to reach everyone except the people who actually buy from you) Tighten location targeting (default hits anyone showing interest in your area, not people actually there) Turn off display network on search campaigns (eats search budget and mixes two totally different traffic types. Rarely worth having on) Small things, but together it adds up

Road to 100k profit month with ecom - Day 160 Always prioritze the things that MOVE THE NEEDLE. Everyday. You might have a long to do list but always put the things that most directly bring you towards your goal first. Those highest impact, highest leverage activities that might not be the most fun but that are the most necessary. And even if you only do a bit of them everyady, because of how high impact they are, you'll notice a huge difference overtime in how much faster you can reach your goals. In the dropshipping game I find this often to be product testing. Finding a new winner has such exponetially large returns on it. New winner that I tested couple days ago 👇

Brand finally went live today. Lowkey understand all the Meta hate now LMAO. Took me 3 hours with the Meta AI to figure out why we weren't spending and it was just the simplest thing ever.

July starting well so far, we are kinda stable around 130K-140K day. Here is what we did to achieve that: we hire always more creative strategist and editors, we also work with some creative agencies. We put them all in competition, the best ones get a bonus, the worst ones are fired. Well, if they all good we keep them all but since we keep hiring new one, we always have some that just burn our cash. And that's my next point: We dont take any profit, 100% is put back in the business. If we want to support this level of scale and scale even more, we need more creatives, we need more funnels, we need more acquisition channels, we need more markets. We need everything MORE. We have to keep the momentum running, we have to keep pushing, always more. We are trying everything we see here as well: cbo, abo, cost cap, bid cap, graveyard, ... We need to stay up to date, move fast, try fast. Ask me anything in the comment 🏎

v5.3 might be my favourite update yet. The new animation module is quietly turning into people’s top spenders. Not because the visuals are “better.” Because they’re more watchable. This ad worked because it made people laugh first. Humor drops defenses, earns attention, and buys you enough time to educate before you ever sell. That’s retention. That’s why these creatives keep scaling. Comment “v5” and I’ll send you the framework link.
