There he is! Thorpe has taken pride of place on my studio shelf, but not just as a piece of @playnewworld history, but as a tribute to what it means to be a community. The best part of this journey was, and always will be, the people - from @jstubbles @Ritlua @ShadowFox_CM @OhThatRachel and all the devs over the years, to @YaBoiWiilly @DannehTV @TrickTrickms @rozilol and so many more streamers that I came to call friends, Thorpe is my reminder that no matter how the story ends, the best parts are the people you meet along the way

To say it’s been a rough week so far would be underselling it. I had the most cathartic cry yesterday reading everyone’s responses and seeing all the good bye celebrations in game - I’m so grateful for all of you. Losing New World feels like losing a friend.

I am genuinely so lucky to work with such an amazing team. We've hit some bumps along the way but I wouldn't trade it for anything. The talent, diversity of backgrounds, welcoming feedback and holding each other accountable, just 🤌

@SavvvoGames I’m very happy I was put into a position to listen, unfortunately I was unable to bring meaningful change. But someone who actually was successful was @Ritlua who is now looking for a new home. They were instrumental in what success I did have and so much more.

While I haven't been there in a bit, yes. This game was only as good as the community that built it up. I am proud that I was able to help early on but its the Creators and Community who deserve the praise.

@Ritlua It's kind of funny how the only people peddling the "new player experience" message were all the streamers being paid to say it. New player experience is honestly worse, we gotta advise people to not level as Tank or Healer supports because of all the 1 player soul trials.
