@OhThatRachel Same here, though my emotions have been a slower burn. Yesterday I was optimistic, thinking everything was fine, we still have a year to enjoy things. But today we lost like 75% of players, people saying goodbyes and such. It really hit me. Had waves of tears throughout the day.

To say it’s been a rough week so far would be underselling it. I had the most cathartic cry yesterday reading everyone’s responses and seeing all the good bye celebrations in game - I’m so grateful for all of you. Losing New World feels like losing a friend.

But I’m so thankful for the friends and community I’ve made because of NW. I had a lovely day with @ashleigh_gif, have a fun few days lined up, and excited to play Outer Worlds 2. Hopefully in the future I’ll work on something fun that I can share with all of you again 💜
