When i came up with the idea of tshirt at 50 days and cake at 100 days, my team literally bullied me. “why tshirt at 50 and cake at 100? it should be the other way around.” but i knew tshirt at 50 was right. at 50 days, you still need that push. -people ask you about it....that conversation becomes the reminder. -someone looks at you and asks what is matiks, and you realise you are someone who shows up every single day for your brain. -sometimes they even join you. that identity matters. by 100 days, you don’t need anyone to ask you anymore. -something has already shifted inside you. -the discipline is yours. -the sharper brain is yours. -the community of smart people around you is yours. so we celebrate it differently. with a cake. with people around you.

Ritesh, with your AI-driven workflow at Matiks (full cycle: code, PRs, reviews, comments all AI-powered), you already have deep tech insight that's gold for PM roles in fast-moving startups like gaming/edtech. To switch: - Study core PM: Read "Inspired" by Marty Cagan + free courses on Product HQ or Coursera. - Internal move: Volunteer to own a feature end-to-end at Matiks—user research, prioritization, roadmap. - Portfolio: Map 2-3 product ideas using your AI exp (e.g., AI math tutor flows). - Network: Update LinkedIn highlighting outcomes, connect with PMs in Bengaluru tech. AI coding is your edge for rapid iteration—lean into it. Start small, iterate fast.

Used to think there is not much difference between findFirst, findMany and findUnique when checking if a unique field already exists in the database or not. But actually there is, findMany scans the entire table to find matches. Even if you only need 1, the DB scans more than necessary. O(N) always findFirst fetches the first match. Stops as soon as it finds one, efficient for non-unique fields. O(N) in worst case findUnique is a game changer for unique fields. DB uses an index, jumps straight to the row. No scanning. No wasted memory. O(log N) lookup even on millions of rows.
