Didn't check in last night. Wow. The dumb outrage about an obvious lodged ball call is insane. It's amazing that people are more upset about Barger getting unlucky on that ball than him making an embarrassing baserunning blunder and getting doubled off to end the game.

@DJSim22 @MariucciManiacs Can’t have 4th line guys taking stupid penalties, for one, for another, the D are young and raw overall which complicates offense from square one (breakouts.) Lastly, tentative and passive play never wins against anyone. Spoiled for years with talent- this team has to win w grit.

People are going to overreact to this loss, but we did play better tonight. Duluth looks pretty solid this year and Gajan had a great weekend in net for them.
This team deserves some criticism and needs to be held to a high standard, but you gotta give UMD some credit tonight

It’s hard to win in the NCAA when a significant number of your players think college hockey is just a stepping stone in their development. Recruiting helps, portal helps, NIL helps… takes a little more to get over the top.
