@tkloos @AAHAGlenn Players like spehar and potter shining a light on a better route. But don’t get me wrong Minnesota hs hockey is beautiful and awesome. Just going to be more for low A level and B level players in the future.

@RivettRusty @AAHAGlenn On top of that, way to many kids move to quick and basically never have the puck on their stick again. Master the level you’re at before even thinking about leaving. 4th line checker in the USHL doesn’t help many 16 year olds.

@tkloos @AAHAGlenn And you ever watch an elite league game.. it’s freaking painful awful to watch hockey. Bunch of kids skating around all for themselves, no structure no passing it’s awful. Reason why shattuck just mops all those teams.

@tkloos @AAHAGlenn More than 65 top level kids gone. I never mentioned USHL; some are on development team some in USHL and a whole mess of them in Tier 1 AAA playing and practicing way more than HS.

@Mnpuckwatchers Top kids that do stick around all end up at one school.. ie Minnetonka, furthering the issue of so many non- competitive blow out games. 25 scheduled games with less than 10 being competitive close games. No good

@Mnpuckwatchers Not a chance. Look at the trend, top kids are not sticking around to play high school hockey. 25 games with most of them non-competitive due to a lack of player depth in the state is not best for development.

Game of the day. Benilde vs Orono. Could be a little rivalry because some kids who grew up in Orono transferred to Benilde.

@tkloos @AAHAGlenn The argument is better competition and development. High school hockey is watered down. They only play 25 games and there are only 10 good teams in the state so about 1/3 of those games are competitive. It’s about development at that age and MN HS hockey option is not like it was

@AAHAGlenn This might be the best argument for Minnesota kids to stay in high school through at least their Jr year. Unless you’re truly elite you’re going to play at least one post high school year in juniors. I’ll never really understand it.

Mason Moe is a name to watch, just has moments where he creates something out nothing, great dynamic talent with some good size and a decent skating toolbox as well.

HS Elite League star and U of V commit Sam Scheetz will be playing for Minnetonka High School this season . He adds to an already deep lineup for the Skips. They will be the early favorite in Section 2 and looking for their second state title in 5 years ,first one in 2018 below :

@CoachMLeonard @HowlinHusky @ValenciaCCT Tell Kingco teams to pony up and play GSHL in non-league then. Known fact they dodge them and refuse to put them on the schedule. Top to bottom. Camas, Skyview and Union is top to bottom. Let’s do a 2 week non-league crossover over the next two years.

@CoachMLeonard @HowlinHusky @ValenciaCCT How do you figure Kingco is best league? 😂 GSHL has pretty much proven in the past years what they do to state tournaments. I am not sure Bothel could beat Union who didn’t even make it out of the GSHL.

@HowlinHusky @ValenciaCCT Camas…. Sumner. Only loss is to Kingco champ, Kingco is the best conference top to bottom. Shouldn’t have a Bothell-GK quarterfinal. This is why you went to this system
