when this first hit the internet we handed a laptop around the room at my parents’ house and everyone said oh that’s blue and black. handed it to my dad, he squints, says white and gold. we thought he was fucking with us. he insisted he couldn’t see blue and black. anyway later that year his retina fell off and he needed surgery to reattach it to his eyeball.
