@MrMarinKnows @alanhahn Totally agree! I think we beat Boston last year because of the way Detroit played and forced this team to play with a different toughness both mental and physical. But also will help handling the Hawks in 5 games vs 6 or 7.

I’ll really never understand even a loud minority fan hate toward Brunson — especially using last night as an example. The last time they played a really bad team (washington) they scored 15 more points than last night and had just four less assists. Last night wasn’t some “ah ha” moment. They struggled against a bad team for three quarters.

The Want to play defense needs to be there. Yes Houston hit some tough shots but the Knicks also let up some easy ones. Watching them all season, there just seems to be a mental block at times. They have shown when they have that fire and play with energy both ends its great!
