How can anyone claim to 'love Scotland' and then try to break the country away from it's neighbour and biggest trading partner, erect a hard border, impoverish its citizens, break hundreds of years of family, historical and social bonds, weaken the military, and let a bunch of toxic, greedy nationalists – who have already proved they can't run a bath – run it into the ground? All against the wishes of the majority of Scots, who already decided it wasn't for them. That's a very strange kind of love. Love is a two-way process. They may claim to 'love Scotland', but in trying to tear Scotland apart, does it love them back? Surely, the whole idea of loving a country includes loving its citizens. But, despite their claims of love, their love is conditional. They only love it the way they think it should be – without the Scots who are against them – not the way it is. Instead of lying to themselves about how much they love Scotland, they need to stop masturbating to their self-indulgent fantasy of Scotland and accept reality. Maybe then they will find the true love they seek.
