@RmnMark Yes we do. Many of them have special needs. It doesn't require specialized training. It is a wonderful way for them to be active members of society and gives them a sense of purpose and a paycheck.

There’s a young man who bags groceries at my local Kroger whom I have long tried to avoid. He seemed nice, but was agonizingly slow. But today, I ended up in his lane and found he’s improved markedly. So I looked at him and told him I noticed how much better he’s gotten. (Thread)

🚨BREAKING: iran just responded to the president of the united states with "we've lost the keys".. let me tell you why that's the most dangerous sentence in geopolitics right now.. trump goes on truth social demanding they open the strait.. and iran's official embassy tweets back a punchline.. like a teenager ignoring a landlord's eviction notice.. this is a country america couped in 1953.. sanctioned for 40 years.. assassinated their top general in 2020.. and bombed their bridges last week.. and their response to all of it is a meme.. that's a country that figured out the bluff.. they watched him give a 48-hour deadline and extend it 34 hours when nobody flinched.. watched him promise "all hell" and call a lid by 5pm.. watched him bomb a bridge because five days felt too slow and then beg for a deal by morning.. iran isn't afraid of the threat anymore.. they're afraid of taking it seriously and looking stupid when he backs down again.. you can't bomb a country into respecting you after they've already stopped.

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.  Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion. They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst. Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. When Trump leaves office: The Department of War will go back to being the Defense Department. The Trump Kennedy Center will go back to being the Kennedy Center. The Gulf of America will once again be the Gulf of Mexico. The unfinished East Wing (it won't be finished by the end of Trump's term) will be rebuilt by the next president, and it will not be a ballroom. Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired. The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president. Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference. The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies. The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists. Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it. The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters. U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators. And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

@MarkRuddStaffs That is completely false Mark, jury trials will remain a key part of the system. What’s being changed is the threshold at which a defendant can elect to have a jury trial. Currently, people are waiting far too long (423 days for rape victims) so something has to be done.
